My cousins kids from Tokyo took refuge with the O'Leary's of Fairport NY. The kids enjoyed their stay in the US. They visited with Dan O'Leary's school and made a bunch of new friends. I did my part by acting as translator.
Meanwhile, things are not improving in Japan. The anxiety from the radioactive fallout keeps growing. I wish my Japanese part of my extended family the best. Be safe.
